Summary of Position
To manage the MLT & PBT programs. To teach courses as assigned by the Department Chair.
Minimum Required Education
Masters or Doctoral degree from a nationally, regionally or identified at the state level accredited institution of higher education in a medical laboratory professional who holds ASCP-BOC or ASCPi-BOC generalist certification as a Medical Laboratory Scientist/Medical Technologist.
Minimum Required Experience
Three years full time wage earning experience in a related field required. Teaching experience preferred.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Knowledge of education methods and administration as well as current accreditation and certification procedures. Ability to communicate with written and oral expertise in the English language.
Ability to promote an effective environment for learning in lecture and lab experiences. Ability to teach students from diverse cultural and social backgrounds.
