Hours Full-time, indicate working hours - 7am-4:30pm (Mon-Thurs) 7am-11am (Fri)

Summary of Position

The duties and responsibilities of this position are the operational and preventive maintenance of all physical plant/building equipment and related systems throughout campus. Activities also include the repair and installation of plumbing, mechanical and HVAC equipment and systems throughout campus.

Minimum Required Education

A high school diploma or GED equivalent. (A vocational certificate in a related field is preferred but not required).

Minimum Required Experience

A minimum of 3 years of related wage earning experience maintaining physical plant equipment, building systems, HVAC, plumbing or other related system.
or A minimum of 1 year related wage earning experience equipment with Vocational Certificate of Training in a related field such as construction, building maintenance, HVAC, plumbing, etc.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Must be able to comprehend oral and written instructions. Have working knowledge of building systems/equipment which may include electric motors, water pumps, natural gas heating, test equipment, tools, oxygen acetylene cutting and brazing torch operation and procedures, basic plumbing, water closets, flush valves, p-traps and garbage disposals, shower heads, etc. Must be able to competently perform assigned tasks safely, efficiently, and in a timely manner.
