Summary of Position
The Computer Lab/Testing Monitor will be responsible for monitoring the CTC computer lab and for all phases of college testing services provided by Central Texas College. The incumbent will schedule and monitor all college examinations for civilian and military personnel, maintain positive communication with other colleges regarding specific testing protocols, maintain accurate records of all tests; track and secure all examinations, and adhere to internal testing schedules and protocols of the Site.
Minimum Required Education
Associates degree from a nationally, regionally, or identified at the state level accredited institution of higher education required.
Minimum Required Experience
Two years computer-related full-time wage earning experience required. Computer related certifications preferred.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Windows, and web-based applications • Ability to operate office equipment, scanners, facsimile machines, and copiers • Ability to perform low-level maintenance and troubleshooting of computers. • General office and clerical skills • Knowledge and ability to follow stated testing protocols and written directions • Ability to work with soldiers, civilians, and diverse educational institutions requiring college test administration services and support. • Time management skills • Ability to schedule and complete multiple simultaneous tasks • Possess customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills • Possess excellent telephone etiquette • Ability to maintain confidentiality of all information • Must be detailed oriented, able to work independently, with minimum daily supervision • Must demonstrate positive and professional attitude
