The Senior Product Analytics Leader is responsible for providing actionable business analytics based on data from multiple sources related to the Drilling platform. In this role, you will lead the architecture, execution and integration of data platforms with existing business information infrastructures to achieve better outcomes for our customers.
You will also own and lead the development of advanced analytics solutions to understand business drivers, explain observed patterns and identify opportunities to achieve business impact by fusing data driven techniques with domain knowledge. Additionally, you will help the Product Line Leaders understand the potential benefit that can be extracted from data and identify additional types of data that should be obtained to improve product reliability.
In the role of Senior Product Analytics Leader, you will:
Identify business needs and solutions
Collaborate with various parts of the business to understand their needs as they relate to data generation and consumption
Architect solutions with cross-functional teams, including IT and BHGE’s Digital Technology teams
Develop analytics plan and resources to increase product reliability and customer outcomes
Create a Multi-Generation Product Plan for the Analytics platform in collaboration with the Product Line Leaders to understand their needs as they relate to data generation and consumption
Set goals for direct and dotted line reports aligned to the product line
Create and maintain good customer relationships through Quarterly Business Reviews – work closely with them to identify solve their problems
Manage Program Execution
Develop business cases to support investment in new programs that support Drilling’s digital and analytics goals
Direct the activities of project team members, including application development and systems personnel.
Ensure conformance to established system architecture, IT standards, practices and GE Quality initiatives
Promote the Platform / Brand
Participate in development and execution of promotion plans that increase awareness of GE
Drilling’s Analytics capabilities, including industry trade shows, promotional literature, and trade magazine advertising
Participate in industry events through presentations as appropriate
Organize and schedule events, activities and resources
Ensure operational excellence in the areas of integrity, EHS, controllership and compliance" Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university
Minimum 5 years of experience in Product Management
Minimum 5 years of experience in systems architecture, information consulting, or data project management Desired Characteristics:
Advanced degree in Information Systems/Architecture preferred
Hands-on expertise in Agile program management and data analytics
Experience in statistical & probability modeling, as well as, advanced data mining
Experience in solving analytical problems using quantitative approaches
Experience understanding asset performance management throughout the lifecycle including reliability and durability
Ability to communicate with business and IT leaders in a way that can influence how an organization approaches business
Creation / deployment of models and algorithms to analyze social, machine, text, sensor and large volume structured and unstructured data
Ability to work with cross-functional teams to help build effective processes
Strong oral and written communication skills
