Working hand-in-hand with Partners, Principals and Managing Directors, our sales executives focus their highly skilled efforts in establishing relationships with qualified targets and decision makers to uncover opportunities, develop effective sales strategies, manage the pursuit process and act as a key advisor to the pursuit team throughout the sales process. What you'll do:Working hand-in-hand with Deloitte Partners, Principals and Managing Directors, the Sales Executive (SE) will focus their highly skilled efforts in securing relationships with qualified targets and decision makers to uncover opportunities, develop effective sales strategies, manage the pursuit process and act as a key advisor to the pursuit team throughout the sales process. The SE is responsible for leading and winning pitches for Heat. The role involves: Creating awareness, building relationships with key marketing executives, and develop/pursue leadsSupporting direct marketing campaigns - including following up leadsAssisting Partners/Principals/Managing Directors and consulting teams to qualify and win opportunitiesInfluencing decision-makers at the highest levels within client organizations and Deloitte account teamsDemand and execution management, i.e., work with the broader team to determine the approach from RFP response through the pitch processFostering teamwork, building relationships, and developing internal and external alignmentRequired Qualifications: Successful track record of business development with a large regional or nationally recognized ad agencyPossess a minimum of 10 years advertising experience in business development, account management strategy or mediaExperience leading serially successful business development pursuits, acquiring and managing complex clientsExistingbusiness relationships with senior client executives and pitch consultantsAbility to work as a team playerStrong presentation skillsGood knowledge of marketing and advertising landscapeAn ability to gain access and influence decision-makers at the highest levels in client organizationsExperience crafting and executing strategic and tactical plans to close pitchesSuccess in both large, matrixed enterprises and smaller, entrepreneurial businessesExperience selling both tangibles and intangiblesWillingness to travel up to 70%Undergraduate degreePreferred: Advanced Degree
